Here's what we've been up to lately - a mix of projects that pushed our limits and reminded us why we fell in love with architecture in the first place.
We don't do cookie-cutter designs. Every project here tells its own story - some were smooth sailing, others kept us up at night (in a good way). From cozy homes to bold commercial spaces, each one taught us something new.
This one was all about maximizing those waterfront views without making it feel like you're living in a fishbowl. Lots of glass, yeah, but strategically placed so you've got privacy when you need it.
The client wanted something that didn't scream "boring office building" - mission accomplished. We played with angles and natural light to create spaces where people actually wanna work.
Honestly? This was nerve-wracking. You're dealing with 120-year-old bones and trying to sneak in modern amenities without ruining the soul of the place. Worth every sleepless night though.
Mixed-use is tricky 'cause you're juggling retail, residential, and public space. We focused on creating flow between everything so it feels like a neighborhood, not just a development.
Family of five needed room to breathe but didn't want some massive McMansion. We worked with vertical space and clever zoning - everyone's got their spot, but it still feels connected.
The kitchen opens to this amazing backyard area. Parents can cook while keeping an eye on the kids outside. Simple stuff, but it makes everyday life easier.
Restaurant design is interesting - you're creating atmosphere and function at the same time. Acoustics matter just as much as aesthetics when people are trying to have a conversation over dinner.
Client wanted to walk the talk on sustainability. Solar panels, rainwater harvesting, the works. It costs more upfront, sure, but the building practically runs itself now.
High-density doesn't have to mean cramped. We focused on giving each unit its own character while maintaining cohesion across the building. Balconies aren't just tacked on - they're actually usable.
The lobby sets the tone. We designed it to feel welcoming without being pretentious - natural materials, good lighting, space that flows naturally.
Old warehouses have this raw quality you just can't fake. Our job was to turn it into livable space without sanitizing all the character out of it. Exposed brick stays, industrial elements become features.
